Research Engineer

ACR Electronics, Inc., a division of Cobham, plc, is a world leader in Safety and Survival Technologies and Products used in the Marine, Outdoor, Aviation and Military markets.  This position is critical to ACR’s ongoing commitment to be a leading edge technology company creating products that save lives.  This position will focus on researching and defining the next generation of design technology, infrastructures, and functionality for new systems and devices that will drive future growth and create new market opportunities. Lead the planning, organization and implementation of projects/research programs designed to result in new products and improved quality of existing products and processes.

A Master’s degree in a technical engineering or science field such as physics, material science, or chemistry/chemical engineering is required.  A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related scientific field is preferred.

10+ years of post-graduate experience in industry applying current research topics to develop industry-leading technology solutions

Broad technical knowledge and understanding in one or more areas of Electrical Engineering (e.g. analog, digital, RF, and/or DSP).  5+ years experience in IC design, analog circuit design, knowledge of MOS transistors and device modeling, parasitic analysis.
