Assist the government by providing expert research and analysis to support the identification, development, and fielding of new capabilities for Army combat units and staffs. Lead or support efforts to research, analyze, and develop new and existing concepts and solutions for Army units that engage in tactical intelligence operations to attack the improvised explosive device (IED) network. Serve as a lead for developing and writing AWD-directed documents and actions, including Concept of Operations (CONOPS), mission training plans, and DOTMLPF assessments of proposed solutions. Participate in formal and informal working groups formed to assess specific operational-related capabilities to help the Army decide the future of those capabilities. Participate in Task Force - Observe, Detect, Identify, and Neutralize (TF ODIN) internal and user unit training efforts. Interface with military and government service personnel and other contractors, who are working related issues in support of Army combat units. The position will require travel of up to 20% of the time to various US Army installations and to attend periodic conferences in support of these efforts and is located at Fort Monroe, VA.
