Leads internal clinical teams and multiple external vendors (CROs niche vendors) for the execution of assigned clinical trials on time, within budget and in accordance with Vertex quality standards. Provides operational leadership for all assigned studies and directly oversees the CRO and niche vendors to ensure consistency of methods, interpretation and approach. Maintains clinical timelines and updates for maintenance of necessary study tracking (i.e. enrollment).
