A background in statistical genetics is desired but not required. The role of the Biostatistician within the Medical Services Department would be to analyze data from ongoing clinical trials, to participate in the design of new clinical trials that test the validity of genetic/genomic technologies for possible clinical use, and for evaluation of scientific literature and presentations.
