The focus of the position is in Applied or Social Statistics, complementing and enhancing the work of the Center for Applied Statistics. The applicant's research should have application in Social and Applied Statistics and may be in any area of statistical theory or methodology that reinforces the current departmental research strengths, such as computational statistics, medical statistics, pharmaceutical statistics, Bayesian statistics, bioinformatics, extreme value methods and statistical genetics.
