The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) organizes, assesses, implements, and maintains a nursing service that will meet the requirements of the accrediting agency, Federal and State agencies, the Medical Center and the professional community. The CNO reports to the Executive Director. Directs all Nursing Service Employees. Participates with the Executive Director, management, and medical staff in developing the hospital's mission, strategic plans, operational plans and policies. Carries the leadership responsibilities for other Departments as determined by the Executive Director.
