Assists in directing the day-to-day operations and functions of the hospital in a manner commensurate with the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability granted by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and as may be directed by the CEO, to assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided at all times. In this capacity, the COO carries responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations.
