Operations Geologists is responsible for wellsite geological operations to include sample description, preparation of geological logs, QA/QC of electric logs, providing field supervision, picking key geologic markers, and communicating with geological, land, engineering and drilling staff members. Duties are progressive and as experience with operations is gained field work will balance with office duties. Responsibilities will also include landing and steering horizontal wells using various software packages.
