The DMD's role is to ensure affordable and excellent care is delivered to the entire population in the local geographic districts. In addition to work that will promote a strong relationship with contracted providers, the DMD partners with the leadership of the Group Practice to assure optimum performance of the GHP lead delivery system. The DMD partners with the District Administrators (DAs) to lead the health plan performance management process of local geographic markets for all health plan product.
