Reporting to the Head of HSE&Q for company UP&D, the Principal Safety Engineer is key in setting our process safety standards to ensure legislative compliance for our operated assets and to drive the high level of process safety performance that the company expects. The Principal Safety Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring: a consistent, best practice approach to major hazard identification, quantitative risk assessment and process safety risk management across UP&D; and the establishment and upkeep of major accident prevention policy, offshore safety report and onshore COMAH reports.
