Responsible for overall coordination and administration of sponsored research. Will develop department-wide systems and procedures for pre- and post-award research administration; ensure compliance with MIT and governmental research regulations/policies; work with department's research fiscal officers (RFOs) in developing a team to provide effective and consistent service to principal investigators (PIs); oversee the workloads of RFOs to ensure balance, cross-training, and coverage for absences; develop standard financial forecasting and reporting tools.
