The Lead Discovery (LD) Group is intimately involved in early drug discovery activities including assay validation and configuration for HTS, hit validation, compound lead identification and optimization. LD scientists also provide strong technical support and manage data flow to reinforce key decision points of projects. The LD scientists work in close collaboration with colleagues in Biochemistry, Molecular & Cellular Oncology and Chemistry to advance early Discovery stage projects from target validation all of the way through to preclinical development candidate.
