The position's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall direction and scientific leadership of the Research and Laboratories and Foundation Research Institute, which include critical issues research, test method development and product evaluation; directing the scientific involvement in development standards and guidelines; guiding the programs of the Center for Evidence-based Dentistry.
