Will provide leadership and coordinate system-wide efforts directed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of nursing leadership, nursing practice, and patient and nursing safety. The VP/CNO will provide strategic nursing leadership for PH&S and form a strong linkage between system leadership and the Chief Nursing Officers in the Regions and Senior and Community Services. The VP/CNO provides leadership and direction in the development and ongoing monitoring of the science of nursing, nursing practice and nursing quality initiatives.
